CarShare allows me to be able to go grocery shopping and get quick errands done that I would've paid over double the price if I had taken an Uber/Lyft. I also have been biking every day to save money and be better to the environment.

We’ve liked the idea of carsharing ever since we moved to downtown Burlington. We recently decided to take a closer look at CarShare’s offerings as a possible supplement to walking, biking, taking the bus, and renting cars. We decided the convenience of several downtown locations was something we just couldn’t pass up any longer.

VHFA employees travel thousands of miles each year to inspect rental housing, visit construction sites, attend public meetings, and offer homebuyer information seminars. We wanted to make it possible for our staff to do this vital work without having to rely on their personal vehicle. Employees can now bike or take the bus to work in the morning, and then take a CarShare car to business appointments when they need to.
